Edited by: Compleat Bacon on 30/11/2009 00:47:58 Originally by: Ronha Ottrit Now this could be because EVE is a PVP game.. and thats all I really needed to say. Actually, given that this is a "sandbox" game, it is whatever you want...

62. The Logic of Honor - in Crime and Punishment [original thread]
Reputation? lol. In a game where there are 45000 people online at one time (ok, 15-30k after alts), there is no such thing a global reputation. Hell, I doubt that more than 80% of the players know who Chribba is. Currently zero sec players can e...

63. Piracy is not PVP - in Crime and Punishment [original thread]
Frankly, this game would be pretty boring without the, uh, non-consentual battles.... These types of things are always grey, as opposed to clear black and white lines. But then, most things in life are grey in this regard too... Piracy is a form...

70. Jerks Dishonoring Ransoms - in Crime and Punishment [original thread]
Please continue this policy. It will make the concept of ransom worthless, thus removing a major source of income for pirates. This will then lower the number of pirates, because it becomes less viable as a business, making lowsec almost usable. ...

71. Brainstorm: Bounty Office - in Crime and Punishment [original thread]
The issue is the lack of real cost to the victim, thus allowing alts to collect. Now, if the bounty was tied to an Skill Point loss, or some other loss to the bountied. SP is probably too strong though, and too subject to abuse.

72. HULKAGEDDON 2009 draws to a close. - in Crime and Punishment [original thread]
Actually, what I also meant, was that if I had known they were hulk hunting, I had some macro targets in system for them.... Now that might be something. A "macro miner" reporting service. The "Reds in system!" got quite a bit of response. Peopl...

73. HULKAGEDDON 2009 draws to a close. - in Crime and Punishment [original thread]

74. Seriously, why is carebearing so despised by some? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Egocentricity. Whatever your view is, it must be the one and only true vision. All others are a fail. The amusing thing would be if every single player gatecamped all day. Or everyone ninja-salvaged. The game would be REAL exciting then, wouldn't...

Also, as you "grow" in the game, the relative isk you can make in a day only grows. So saving up isk for a rainy day, rather than investing in something that makes you more isk, can be the wrong choice. When you start, 10,000 isk seems like a lot...
